Built for belonging
Cordia is designed around the way communities actually feel: a familiar place to check in, a room for the people you click with, and just enough structure to keep things kind.

Privacy, without the mystery
Direct messages in Cordia use X3DH and the Double Ratchet to keep your words between you and the person you’re talking to. Your encryption keys stay on your device, and a recovery code helps you get back in when you need it.

Support
One account, every device, every feature. There is no Pro tier, no card on file and nothing to cancel — the tip jar below is the whole business model.
The code opens a page where you can leave a one-off tip of whatever size you like. Nothing about your account changes: no plan, no card on file, nothing to cancel.
One-off only. There is no subscription to this, and nothing to cancel later.
Only two things here actually cost money: storing the files people upload, and moving voice, video, and messages between them. Everything else is close to free at our size. Tips cover those two bills, which is why nothing has to sit behind a paywall and why there are no ads to fall back on.
No. Free is the product, not a countdown. It has no end date, no card on file, and nothing to cancel. Every feature on this page is in it.
A Supporter badge on your profile, and our thanks. Nothing is unlocked, because nothing was locked to begin with. Tips are one-off, so there is no subscription to manage or cancel.
No. There are no ads and there never will be, and your data is not for sale. Tips exist so the project does not have to depend on either one.
Buy Me a Coffee, on their own site. Your card details never reach Cordia, and we are not told what you paid — only that someone did.
A few good questions
Cordia is free to download and use. Create an account and join a community on Cordia.
Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted with X3DH and the Double Ratchet. Server channels are visible to members with access to that channel, so share accordingly.
The desktop app runs on Windows 10/11 or a modern x64 Linux desktop. The web app needs a current browser and a Cordia account.
Yes — open Cordia in your phone’s browser and add it to your home screen as a web app. Native Android and iOS builds are in the works.
The app shell can load without a connection, but messages, calls, and live updates need the server. Background push alerts are available in the installed web app.
